Judith Grimes: The New Future of TWD?
Subscribe to help me reach 200K!
So I’ve taken some time to collect my thoughts on The Ones Who Live and really let it breath in my mind. I can honestly say, I’m a bit disappointed. All those thoughts and theories on the future of the universe with the CRM connecting all the spinoffs together went out the window with a simple little explosion. I don’t think the show was bad, I think a lot of people overreact to how bad it is comparing it to the final season of Game of Thrones or How I met You Mother, I definitely wouldn’t put it up there with those, but I’d be lying if my love and the hype surrounding this universe hasn’t died down significantly since the last episode of the show came out. But that’s the danger of fan theories, if what you want doesn’t happen, it leads you to being disappointed.

16:44 I really like S7 E1 because It’s all about ricks defiance to submission so we only see things though Rick POV and negan drags him on all fours and tells him to get my axe to treat rick like a dog which is the point of the RV trip negan tries to make Rick listen at the end of the trip Rick still gives him that look of defiance which plays a big part in ricks breakdown at the end of the episode.

This episode is all the proof we need that Carol is the strongest survivor. To have to do something like this and just continue afterwards takes an insane amount of strength. I’m not sure even Daryl could have lived with himself after this. Not saying Carol is perfect and has always made the right choices, but without a doubt, she is the strongest and most adapted survivor in the series.

Your Jabba the Hutt criticism is wrong. The original scene where he's just a man wasn't even in A New Hope, it was a deleted scene that they edited to put the Rotj version of Jabba in.

Okay okay okay.... Aslan sends the randoms back to their world which is our world where they came from. THey wouldn't be set to the "current" time the movie takes place. They will be sent to the exact time they went in when they went to Narnia. Just like in the first movie with the time skip. The kids go back and they essentialy pop out of the closet right after they went in. Smae thing would happen to those guys, they would pop out in their own time. Narnia is like a different dimension with different time and people from our world can go there at different times and meet inside. Also the way the kids get into narnia each time is magic and done by Narnia force. So them being right infront of a ship is Narnia plobbing them exactly where they can be found.

28 days gave me nightmares for weeks. Two scenes stand out, Mark's story about how his family tried to escape "..my dad had all this money", and the scene when they're leaving London in the taxi, and briefly in the reflection of the car window, an abandoned tractor had been piling up dead bodies Edit: I watched it again and I had forgotten the infected child in the dark abandoned gas station. Horrifying

The monster from the first movie is named Clover and he isn't from the ocean. The whole point of all three movies is the mystery behind what the hell is going on. Most likely, the device from Paradox spliced Clover and the Aliens into that version of Earth. Clover destroyed NYC, was killed by the US on the East Coast, and the Aliens started a war with mankind on the West Coast, which they are winning by the end of 10 Lane. Tagruato is something to throw us off the scent of the real plot.

She had something wrong with her to begin with. It shows when her father is concerned about his girls before he dies at the prison. The apocalypse just exasperated her condition. If a perfectly healthy person like Rick and Morgan can go nutz of course a child with a pre-existing mental disorder would too. If there were no apocalypse, something else in her life would have pushed her over the edge at some point. She would have needed treatment later.

The Day 1 flashback was fine albiet uncessary, but after that they really should have jumped straight to Evelyn and her kids walking on the dirt trail in daylight to Emmett's base. That section that picks up immediately where the last left off is a detriment to the story because of the continuity errors and kids looking so much older

the second time i saw this at a ridley scott double feature in the 80s, half the people in in the audience were yelling to 'leave the f**king cat!' and the other half were booing that specifically. i like cats, so i was glad she saved Jones. But i also understood from a different perspective. jones was a member of her crew. you don't leave a sentient being behind to die if you don't have to, and by virtue of the fact that she saved jones, she didn't have to leave him behind. but mostly i thought, how lonely space would be for her, and even tho she knew she was going to be asleep, i think part of why she saved him was because of the thought of that aloneness, especially since everyone else was dead.

Jar jar quite literally is the hero of phantom menace he solves the over arching conflict of the film and I think Lucas did this on purpose to be able to both have a conflict in the movie while also being able to tell a more down to earth story
